Sushi | Bar
SNAPSHOT:
Sushi | Bar, a 17-course omakase-style speakeasy, opened in Nashville's Gulch neighborhood in July 2024. Offering an intimate dining experience with only 12 seats per seating and three seatings per night, this exclusive venue also features a separate cocktail lounge, Golden Sound. The restaurant marries modern Japanese design with a nod to the location's history as a former recording studio, creating a unique and nostalgic atmosphere.
Eshelman Construction led the complete gut renovation and build-out of the 5,000 sq. ft. space, transforming the former Barista Parlor into a refined, elegant dining environment. In collaboration with Remick Architecture, the project included custom millwork, built-in banquette seating, private sushi rooms, and intricate casing work on the walls and ceilings. Sushi | Bar Nashville is the fifth location in a growing national expansion by Adept Hospitality, joining other venues in Austin, Miami, Chicago, and Dallas.
